Miami & Toronto
Legends of Creativity began with experiments in graphics, fabrics and silhouettes. The first shoots took place in Miami and Toronto.

Relaxed, unisex silhouettes, expressive color and distinctive fabrics bring ease and intention to everyday dressing. Made to be interpreted by the person wearing them, the collections move from city to travel and from day to evening.
The name honors creative people and the freedom to express a point of view. That spirit shapes the clothes and everything around them: the music, the imagery, the people who make each piece their own.

Vern Harris was raised by West Indian parents between East Harlem and the Northeast Bronx, surrounded by music, personal style and independent businesses. That upbringing, and later years in Miami, shaped how he approaches color, print and self-expression.
A custom car accessory business taught him velvet, suede, leather and microfiber. Years in business, technology and entertainment marketing taught him how materials, imagery and experiences work together. He founded the brand management firm ILMG before launching LOC, and that experience still drives the brand's creative direction. He remains hands-on across fabric and trim sourcing, labels, campaign production, photography and web design, alongside the brand's design director, pattern makers and atelier team.
Every piece is designed and made in our Los Angeles atelier, from pattern development through cutting, sewing and finishing. Vern moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to build the brand's production base, and in 2021 production moved fully in-house. We've worked this way since, which keeps quality in our hands and lets us make limited runs that stay considered. The pieces are made to be worn across seasons and styled more than one way.
Olympic fencer and model Miles Chamley-Watson, a friend to the brand, wears Legends of Creativity across Grand Prix weekends, premieres, festivals and everyday moments. His looks bring a personal interpretation to the label’s expressive fabrics and relaxed silhouettes.
At F1 Las Vegas in 2024, he wore the Hendrix Knit Jacquard Funnel Jacket with Bowie Houndstooth Baggy Pants from Luxe Sojourn—a look GQ Australia ranked among its top five celebrity outfits of that Formula 1 season.
He wears the gray Abstract Linen Set in Mercedes-Benz campaign imagery, and Legends of Creativity in the Rabanne Invictus Victory Absolu campaign film featured on our homepage.

Legends of Creativity doesn't follow a seasonal calendar. Each collection is a chapter, released when the work is finished.

The first full collection, shot across downtown rooftops, residential streets and the brand's original garage studio.

The first collection made fully in-house, and the moment the brand's craft caught up with its vision. Coordinated looks built for comfort and escape, shot with a white vintage Mercedes convertible. Crushed velvet in teal and hot pink became the brand's signature here.
Shot in Miami, where it all started. Driven by jacquard-woven fabrics, the collection pairs rich texture with expressive colors that complement the city’s vibrant backdrop. Pieces made to move with you.

Street style meets sophistication in a collection for the modern globetrotter. Rich fabrics and relaxed silhouettes balance luxury and comfort, moving effortlessly from city life to faraway escapes.
Our pieces are named for the people who shaped us, drawing on music, art and culture. Ulric is named for Vern's father, whose support made the brand possible.
